Frequently asked questions
Do I need a licence for an electric scooter?
No. Electric scooters in Bulgaria require neither a driving licence nor registration. Traffic rules still apply — see our separate blog article.
Where can I ride?
On cycle lanes and on streets with a limit up to 50 km/h. Riding on pavements is prohibited, unless there is no cycle lane and you have no alternative — then at walking pace.
How long does the battery last?
Lithium batteries last 500–800 full charge cycles before capacity drops to around 80%. With regular riding that means 3–5 years.
Is the scooter waterproof?
The Tiger models are rated IPX6 — they handle heavy rain and wet surfaces. That does not mean you can ride through deep puddles or submerge them. Riding in deep water is not covered by the warranty.
How long does charging take?
8 to 15 hours with the standard charger, depending on battery capacity. A second charger halves that.
Can I replace the battery myself?
Technically yes, but it voids the warranty if something goes wrong. Batteries run at high voltage (48–60V) and a wiring mistake can destroy the controller. We recommend the workshop.
Do you have a workshop?
Yes, in Stara Zagora. We also repair scooters bought elsewhere, with priority for our own customers.
How do I order a part I can't find on the site?
Email office@rideadventure.bg with your scooter model and a description or photo of the part. We stock most parts even when they aren't published.
